The Model 7329 eight-position RJ45 Switch manufactured by Electro Standards Laboratories features Cat6 switching capability with RS232 remote control. The dimensions of the switch are 48.2x4.4x20.3cm and it weighs approximately 2.5kg.
An optional wide range power module, Catalog No. 517277, is available with this switch. The table mount power module is rated for 100 to 240V AC and 50 to 60Hz.
The switch features eight front panel pushbuttons to individually control switch position. Via American standard code for information interchange RS232 serial data remote commands, the user can remotely lockout front panel pushbuttons and can control and monitor the switch position, says the company.
The switch is transparent to data speed and format. This switch retains its last switch position in the event of a power loss and continues to pass data. An anodised black box packaging provides EMI and radio frequency interference shielding.
