Schaefer has introduced the AEP-5000 series of 5000W, rough, high efficiency, and sine wave inverters. The sine wave output with less than 3% total harmonic distortion is good for powering sensitive loads and for AC equipment performance.
The inverter is available in four input voltage configurations of 24, 48, 110 or 220V DC. Outputs are available in regulated 115 or 230V AC with 50 or 60Hz versions.
The inverter features operating temperature of -30 to +50°C, protection circuitry, and a digital display to monitor or indicate low input voltage, short circuit, input over-voltage, over-temperature, over-load and low battery. The display also indicates voltage, amperage, power and temperature. EMI is minimised to class B standards for reduced impact on other equipment.
The inverter is used for industrial utility, military, rail, transit, satellite, computer, vehicle, mobile, marine and general backup power applications. They are available at 5.5, 12.75 and 19.5inch of height, width and diameter, respectively, and from 700 to 5000W and rack mount configurations.
