The high-miniature D2F micro-switch from Omron Electronic Components features a mechanism to enhance switching reliability and a two-stage bottom housing with different levels to prevent flux penetration during manufacturing.

The micro-switch is available in 6.5, 12.8 and 5.8mm height, width and diameter, respectively. It incorporates insertion moulded terminals and snapping mechanism and is constructed with two high precise split springs to ensure a long lifetime, says the company.

The micro-switch has an operating voltage of 125V AC at 3A and 30V DC at 2A, an insulation resistance of 100mΩ and operates from -25 to +85°C. It supports terminal types and configurations including self-clinching PCB, right-angled, left-angled, and solder terminals. For high volume applications the operating lever, wire cable, terminals and housing can be changed, says the company.
