Finder has introduced eight modular, 22.5mm rail-mounted timers, the multi-voltage 83 series. They are for mains or low voltage AC and DC battery supplies, to provide a range of timing functions. The multi- and mono-function timers handle 14 different timing functions, with time scales between 0.05s and 10 days, and work at a voltage range of 24 to 240V AC or DC. The timer series includes the 83.11 for on-delay, the 83.21 for interval, the 83.41 for off-delay with control signal, the 83.62 for power-off delay and the 83.82 for star-delta timing function. With changeover contacts rated for 16A, the timers are capable of switching AC1 loads of up to 4kVA or single phase motors up to 0.5kW. The single pole 83.01 and double pole 83.02 variants both offer eight timing functions, including a special watchdog function, with the continuous presence or absence of a pulse beyond the set time. The 83.02 timer also provides an external potentiometer time setting option, which enables the timer to be adjusted from the front of control panel or enclosure. In addition, it also offers the option to select between either two or one timed and one instantaneous contact. The 83.91 timer provides four asymmetrical flasher timing functions such as starting pulse on and off both with and without a control signal input.
