Premo launches a 3D-coil isotropic magnetic antenna for NFC applications, operating at up to 13.56MHz. The antenna has a high surface resistance NiZn ferrite core material, with more than 10MΩ/mm and with low initial permeability to work at high frequency. It provides a stable performance in a wide range of temperature of -40 to +85ºC, claims the company. The 3DC15-HF antenna has the same format as the 3DC15, 125kHz, transponder family. The antenna is offered with three, six, nine, 18 and 60µH inductance values. Inductance values can be combined to produce the standard inductance values of one, two, three, six and 20µH connecting the three axes in parallel. The antenna can be integrated into an automatic PCB assembly process (lead-free reflow), avoiding handling that could damage winding wire of the piece. It also meets AEC-Q-200 for electric components in automotive applications.
