BVM Group has introduced the LS-574, a 5.25inch, low power, SBC that is suitable for industrial control and automation, gaming machines, kiosks, medical instruments, video servers, print imaging, and digital signage. Based on the QM67 chipset, the SBC features a second-generation Sandy Bridge Intel Core i7,i5, and i3 mobile processor in the rPGA988B socket. The SBC supports up to 16Gbyte DDR3, small outline, dual in-line memory module with 1600MHz memory, and features four 300Mbyte/s ATA (advanced technology attachment) II and two 600Mbyte/s ATA III mass storage interfaces, six Gigabit LAN, six USB2.0, four RS232 and one RS232, RS422, and RS485 serial ports. The HD audio and video includes a digital video interface and HDMI video port driven by a Chrontel CH7318 converter, a Realtek ALC888 7.1 HD audio codec, and a legacy VGA interface. Expansion is enabled through two PCIe mini card sockets and a subscriber identification module socket. The SBC also features a 24bit dual channel LVDS and a programmable 8bit digital GPIO interfaces. The SBC is powered by either a standard 20pin advanced technology extended power supply unit or an external 9 to 24V DC input.
