TDK-Lambda has added three power levels to its AL series of LED AC/DC power supplies for both indoor and outdoor installations, including traffic, street, architectural and emergency service lighting, LED illumination boards, signs and displays. The power supplies are IP66-rated and accept an AC input of 90 to 305V AC. They are available in two output modes: ALV mode for constant voltage and ALC mode for constant current applications. Both versions are available in 60, 80 and 100W power levels with 12, 24 and 36V for the ALV and 1050, 1400, 1700, 3000, 3300 and 4000mA for the ALC. The 241x43x35mm power supplies are mounted in a vibration and shock resilient, sealed cases. They are convection cooled and operate between -30 and +50°C without de-rating, with a start up at -40°C. All power supplies have over-voltage and over-current protection. They are EN55015, EN55022, CISPR22 and FCC compliant, which are claimed to achieve class B conducted and radiated emissions with a substantial margin. They also comply with European safety requirements of EN61347-1 and EN61347-2-13 for lamp control gear, as well as UL8750, CSA C22.2 60950, Denan PSE, ENEC and CE marked. All models are claimed to meet IEC61000-4-2, -3, -4, -5, -6, -8, -11 immunity standards, IEC61000-3-2 Class C Harmonics at loads down to 50%.
