With the WE-CMBH series, Würth Elektronik is offering a common mode power line choke in a horizontal version. With a profile height of 22mm, the power line choke is suitable for slim housings. According to the company, the low-capacitance winding technology ensures suppression over a wide band. This makes the choke suitable for interference suppression in the frequency range from 150kHz to 30MHz. The choke is available with inductance values from 1 up to 7mH with a nominal current of up to 10A. In power electronics, the choke is used as power filter and output filter as well as in motor interference suppression. The choke operates between -40 and +125°C.
