Vishay Intertechnology has introduced the HTRN series of dual-in-line thin film resistor networks that operates between -55 and +215°C. The resistor networks feature TCR (temperature coefficient of resistance) of ±25ppm/ºC, TCR tracking of 5ppm/ºC, and ratio tolerances to ±0.05%.
Featuring a rugged, molded 50mil pitch construction with no internal solder, the resistor networks feature four isolated resistors with a resistance range of 1 to 100kΩ per resistor, with divider ratios from 2:1 to 100:1. The resistors feature noise of less than -35dB, voltage coefficients of 0.1ppm/V, and a power rating of 100mW per element.
According to the company, with stable film and performance characteristics of 500ppm with 25% rated power at +215°C for 2000h, the resistors are optimised for the low-noise, single-signal processing required to compensate for low offset and temperature drift in high-temperature environments, including down-hole applications, automotive under-the-hood applications, high-precision oil and gas exploration, aerospace engine control, and telecommunications and industrial equipment.
With a 1.73mm maximum seated height, the resistors feature a high-purity ceramic substrate and 10 to 20μinch gold terminations for high-temperature, high-melting point soldering, says the company. The resistor networks are compliant with RoHS Directive 2002, 95, EC, and halogen-free according to the IEC 61249-2-21 definition, and flame-resistant in accordance to UL 94 V-0.
