MicroPower Direct has released the F4000RW series of DC/DC converters that provides 40W of isolated, regulated output power. They are suitable for applications requiring high power density and robust performance. Seven standard models operate from 48V DC inputs, providing single outputs of 1.8, 2.5. 3.3, 5, 12, 15, or 24V DC. Standard features include line and load regulation less than 1.0%, input and output isolation of 1,600V DC, continuous short circuit protection, and a remote control input. The converters have an MTBF of more than 550kh and are available in a 2x1.6x0.47in case. They have a standard pin-out. Each model is specified for operation over the operating temperature range of -25 to +70°C. The converters are suitable for board level power applications including telecomms equipment, test instrumentation, data processing systems, process control equipment and board.
