Claimed to provide improved thermal measurement and advanced connectivity, the SC8400 and SC6500 thermal imaging cameras are from FLIR Systems. Equipped with a cooled Indium Antimonide (InSb) detector that produces 1280x1024 pixel thermal images, HD imaging enables the user to see the smallest of details and offers four times more thermal data than a standard 640x512 pixels image. The cameras can detect temperature differences smaller than 25mk, when 18mk is typical. The company's "lock-in" allows process temperature differences as small as 1mk to be visible. The cameras can measure temperatures up to 3000ºC with ± 1ºC accuracy or ±1%. The SC8400 cameras offer an adjustable frame rate of up to 100Hz full frame. The SC6500 cameras have an adjustable frame rate of up to 125Hz full frame. Both deliver images up to 3000Hz.
