Crucial has introduced a 7mm version of the m4 SSD for thin storage devices. The SSD supports the thin and light form factor laptop models, such as the Lenovo ThinkPad T420G, Acer Aspire 6920G, and Intel-inspired Ultrabook devices. It is available in 64, 128, 256, and 512Gbyte capacities. The SSD enhances boot-up and application load times to enhance computing efficiency, claims the company. Suitable for client computing, the SSD also provides benefits for notebooks, desktops, workstations, and industrial applications, such as low power consumption, lightweight construction, and resistance to shock and vibration.
