High-voltage reed relays from Pickering are claimed to have the highest quality instrumentation grade reed switches. They feature 1kV stand-off at 10W switching up to 15kV stand-off at 50W switching. They are suitable for transformer or cable testing or any ATE with high voltage. The Series 104 single-in-line reed relays are for voltages that are beyond the capabilities of conventional SIL reed relays; where mains voltages are switched, for example, to control and isolate triac gates. One or two Form A (energise to make) or one Form B (energise to break) configurations are available. Three types of dry switches are available, capable of standing-off 1, 1.5 or 3kV DC. The 3kV version has an increased clearance between the switch and coil pins to accommodate the higher voltage. The Series 60/65 and 62/63 high voltage reed relays are available for up to 15kV stand-off, 12.5kV switching at 50W. Both Form A and Form B configurations are available and a Form C (change-over) function can be achieved by using a Form A and a Form B type together. Series 60 is for chassis mounting with solder connections on the top face, Series 62 is are for chassis mounting with push-on connections while Series 63 is for printed circuit mounting with push-on high voltage connections on the top face.
