Dawar's multi-touch PCT (projected capacitive touch) screen technology provides the optimum combination of functionality, sensitivity and advanced optics in an all-glass solution suitable for medical, instrumentation and industrial applications. The multi-touch PCT screens support four simultaneous touch points with full gesture support including tap, flick, pinch, click, expand and rotate. Input is effortless with finger, glove or conductive stylus. The PCT system provides optics with 90% light transmission, clarity of less than or equal to 97%, a rapid response, and good accuracy without linearity calibration, claims the company. The rugged all-glass construction delivers good surface durability of less than 9H pencil hardness and dependable performance over an operating temperature range. The PCT screens are available in standard sizes from 4.3 to 24inch diagonal for controller board solutions and 4.3 to 17inch diagonal for Chip-on-Flex. The screens are available in both standard 4:3 and wide aspect ratios, and feature decorative front lens. The screens are Windows 7 human interface device compliant with drivers and support multiple interfaces such as USB, RS232 and I2C.
