The M/A-COM MAAP-000082 is a 1.9GHz low-cost, three-stage power amplifier suited to use in PHS (personal handy-phone system) applications, which require high gain, high efficiency and small size. The amplifier is equipped with advanced ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection and can withstand electrostatic discharges up to 1kV without degradation in performance. Its rugged design provides 21dBm of linear output power and 36dB gain, while consuming 200mA of current. The amplifier has -63dBc ACPR (adjacent-channel-power-ratio) performance at 600kHz offset. The amplifier is housed in a lead-free 3mm2 12-lead PQFN package.
