The PQ60240EGL03 range of 1/8-brick DC/DC converters delivers a tightly regulated 24V output at up to 3A in the DOSA standard 0.9x2.3" footprint and pin-out. Operating over the input-voltage range of 35 to 75V, the open-frame device offers an efficiency of up to 90%. Due to the optimised topology and layout of the device, de-rating is minimal, even with low levels of forced air cooling. At a height of less than 8.9mm, the unit is particularly suitable for wireless telecom systems utilising very small board pitches, wireless-data-transmission equipment, fan trays, and any application where a 24V rail needs to be generated in a 48V environment.
