The Andrew WiMAX 2.5GHz antenna features the company's patented Teletilt variable electrical downtilt design that enables the antenna to be adjusted remotely for temporary changes in network-usage patterns. With Teletilt, the antenna's electrical downtilt can be changed at any time to optimise network coverage and minimise site-to-site interference within the network. The antenna is designed to extend coverage for both mobile and fixed WiMAX networks and expands on the company's existing 2.5 and 3.5GHz WiMAX antenna portfolio. This model is a 65° azimuth beam-width, dual-polarised base-station antenna that provides 18dBi of gain and up to 10° of electrical downtilt. The antenna can be configured so that it is possible to control several of them remotely from one network-operation center, which further increases efficiency.
