Sensortechnics' new HCA Baro series offers OEM customers high precision barometric pressure measurement with simultaneous digital and analogue output signals. They comply with the I2C bus protocol and can directly communicate with microcontrollers or microprocessors. Custom specific outputs, SPI bus or switching outputs are available on request.

The HCA Baro sensors perform precision digital signal conditioning and achieve high accuracies. Optional 3 V supply voltage versions make these pressure sensors suitable for battery powered applications. The HCA Baro series features miniature single inline and SMT housings for space-saving PCB-mounting and maximum OEM design flexibility. Sensortechnics customisation service can provide fast and flexible mechanical or electronic sensor modifications based on customer specific requirements.

Important features of the new HCA Baro series include simultaneous I2C bus and analogue output signals, SPI bus, switching outputs or custom specific outputs on request, optional 3 V supply voltage versions; and miniature single inline and SMT housings.

Typical applications of these high accuracy digital sensors include barometric pressure measurement for weather stations, environmental data loggers, altimeter systems, hydrology as well as atmospheric compensation for industrial systems and instrumentation equipment.
