The JT 3705/USB is a low-cost test system designed to address the requirements of small/medium enterprises and low-volume-contract electronic manufacturers. The USB-powered boundary-scan controller is portable and compatible with the burgeoning laptop population. It offers two TAPs (test access ports) that can be fully synchronised for test purposes. The JT 3705/USB can be used equally for structural board testing or ISP (in-system device programming) of CPLDs or Flash memories, for example. Programmable output levels per TAP (1.5 to 3.6V) make the unit compatible with all current and future logic families. Test clock frequency can be programmed from 100Hz to 6MHz.
