Simtek's first two 4Mbit products in the company's 130nm CMOS SONOS family of nvSRAM ICs, the STK14EC8 (512kbit x 8) and STK14EC16 (256kbit x 16) devices, deliver fast access SRAM performance at speed grades of 15, 25, and 45ns while offering highly reliable and transparent non-volatile backup on any power disruption. The 130nm designs give customers larger nvSRAMs at attractive price points and fill an increasingly important market need. Other features include an unlimited read/write endurance, automatic non-volatile store function on power loss or under hardware or software control, and automatic recall to SRAM on power up. The devices operate from a single 3.3V power supply.
