Congatec has introduced the Conga-CMEN, a COM-Express module based on Intel's latest low-power platform for mobile computing, Menlow. Fabricated using the most up-to-date 45nm process and Hi-K dielectric technology, the platform comprises the Silverthorne processor, coupled with the Poulsbo chipset, which features integrated 3D graphics. This platform consumes just one-tenth of the power of other ultra-low-voltage, single-core platforms, enabling all types of ultra mobile and fanless applications, and leading to the availability of very small solutions with optimised battery runtime. Congatec's intelligent battery-management technology is included in the board.
