The Dimension CD5 series is a complete range of new DIN-rail-mount DC/DC converters. All converters have input to output isolation, are rated at 120W - except the CD5.121, rated at 96W - and have a temperature range from -25°C to +60°C. The units can deliver an additional 20% power reserve and can be operated at this level continuously below +45°C. The shallow depth of the units permits installation in the usual 120mm on-machine-cabinets, and its 32mm width saves space on the DIN rail. Other features include a built-in soft start, electronic inrush-current limitation, input-polarity protection and the comprehensive approvals package.
