Mobile computing applications can now benefit from the compact-size, fanless and rugged embedded wireless computers from Moxa. The company's ThinkCore W315/W325/W345 products are ready-to-run with Linux 2.6 kernel and middleware devices that offer GSM/GPRS built-in connectivity through a quad-band Class B, GSM/GPRS module to guarantee worldwide operation and highly reliable and stable communications. Additional communication features include Ethernet LAN and 1/2/4 serial ports 3-in-1. The fanless design, with no moving parts, resistant to vibration and shock, makes the ThinkCore series highly suitable for use in machine-to-machine-communication applications. The middleware software built-in on top of the Linux Kernel 2.6 covers TCP/IP protocol stacks, VPN, iptables, as well as telnet, apache, ftp, snmpd, PPPd and MySQL servers.
