Adlink's PCIe-CML64F series of high-performance PCI-Express frame-grabber boards is capable of providing a base/medium/full-configuration camera-link interface. The series fully utilises PCI-Express interconnect technology to deliver image-acquisition-rate levels of up to 85MHz and is designed specifically for high-bandwidth machine-vision applications, such as FPD, and PCB-surface inspection. It delivers all the high bandwidth advantages of the PCI-Express bus while acquiring at the maximum data rates of 680Mbytes/s across an x4 lane. It supports the majority of area-scan and line-scan cameras and can perform image reconstruction during the image-acquisition process. The frame grabber can also be used to carry out defect analysis by setting up a line trigger to precisely record high-speed images, and perform edge inspection by measuring cracks near the edges and corners of the surface. It supports both the Microsoft Windows XP and XP 64-bit operating systems.
