Tadiran Batteries has launched 3.6 volt high-temperature AA size lithium battery, SL-560, specified with a temperature range of -55 °C to +130 °C; extensions are possible to -80 °C and to +150 °C. The battery is suitable for use under extreme conditions. The applications of the product include circuit breakers, autoclaves, high temperature data loggers, lacquer drying kilns, burn-in equipment and oil well drilling equipment. The battery is suitable for memory back-ups with a current draw up to 2 mA.
