Silicon Storage Technology has added SST25WF040 to its 1.8V 25WF Series SPI serial Flash memory family. The 4-Mbit, small form factor SST25WF040 is suitable for battery-powered, space and height-constrained mobile applications. Reduction in pin count, board space, power consumption and cost are achieved. The device features a voltage range of 1.65 to 1.95V for read and write operations and a reading speed of 40MHz. Active read current is 4mA at 40MHz, standby current is 2µA and maximum write current is 10mA for both program and erase operations. The device, with an operating range of -40 to +85°C, delivers a minimum 100,000 read/write cycles per memory block. Hall A5.138
